What Happens?

The general flow of what happens at A Fool's Journey Retreat ...

Thursday

When you arrive (anytime after 3:00 p.m.) you'll be greeted and asked to pull 2 tarot cards.  The Major Arcana will be your personal card for the retreat and the Minor will be used to sort you into your Elemental group.   Then you'll have time to find your cabin and get settled.

There will be an overview of the history of Four Springs Resort Center by the Director of Four Springs as well as an overview by those of us putting A Fool's Journey on which will be followed by dinner.

Later there will be the Opening Ritual and we ask our Elemental Groups to do the invocation for your particular direction during all evening rituals throughout the retreat.

We will have the Grid posted at the Lodge showing what offerings are happening when and where as well as the intention of the evening's ritual.

Friday

Every morning will start pretty much the same ... how you decide.  Take a dawn walk, do yoga in the meadow, morning meditation or sleep in until breakfast at 8:00 a.m.

Then there will be offerings, sacred spa lounging, swimming then lunch followed by more offerings.  At some point you'll need to get together with your Elemental Group to work out your evening invocation.  

Dinner will be followed by the evening ritual in the meadow.

Saturday

Same as Friday except in the afternoon there will be an afternoon Tea Party and you're welcome to bring any favorite snacks to share with the group.  Also bring your own teacup if you have a favorite!

Sunday

Start of the day is the same and offerings in the morning and time to get all packed up and ready to leave.  There will be lunch and a closing ritual and then we need to depart no later than 2:00 p.m.
